Australia is an island, so obviously there are a lot of beaches to choose from. Australia actually boasts over 22,000 miles of shoreline in total, just on the mainland alone. From these 22,000 miles, there are over 10,000 beaches, which gives you a lot of options! But, there are some iconic ones and some that are just too spectacular not to visit.

Bondi Beach

Obviously, everyone knows about Bondi Beach in Sydney, but you should at least go by it to check it out! It does get very crowded with tourists and locals, but it’s so stunning you need to see it to believe it.

75 Mile Beach

This beach is on an island called Frasers Island, and it’s a great place to lay-out and get some peace and quiet. The waters are all shades of green and blue, and the sand is super lush. The only thing is that the waves are very strong, so while it’s not a great place to swim, it is the perfect place to take a walk or read a book! And there are other lakes and springs on the island to satisfy your swimming needs.
