A trip to Greece is incomplete without a visit to Thessaloniki, and here’s a couple of picture-perfect spots that the second-largest city of this country has in store.
The White Tower
The White Tower is Thessaloniki’s top tourist attractions, so it goes without saying it’s also its most Instagrammable place. A walk by the seafront is also a great photo-op, especially if you catch sight of one of many themed floating bars.
Zongolopoulos’ Umbrellas
As you proceed walking down the waterfront after checking out the White Tower, you’ll stumble upon another picture-perfect place. The umbrella installation is a work of art נט the Greek artist George Zongolopoulos, and it’s attracted millions of tourists over the years.
Ano Poli
Thessaloniki’s most charming and vibrant neighborhood is located in the north of the city, and it’s known by the name Ano Poli. In addition to featuring many colorful homes and stone-paved alleys, this part of the city also offers some of the most stunning views in all of Thessaloniki.
