Blue Mosque, Istanbul, Turkey

The Blue Mosque is an inseparable part of Istanbul’s skyline. It was built between 1609 and 1616 under the reign of the Ottoman ruler Ahmed I. Inside the beautifully arranged domes spilling out of the main dome, the ceiling gleams with 20,000 blue iznik tiles.

Ubudiah Mosque, Kuala Kangsa, Malaysia

Undaiah Mosque, which is considered the most beautiful place of worship in Malaysia, consists of four minarets and a golden dome. Sultan Idris Mushidul Azam Shah vowed to build a mosque of great beauty as a token of gratitude for recovering from an illness. The mosque was designed by British architect Arthur Benison Hubback and the opening ceremony took place in September 1913.

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Isfahan, Iran

This breathtaking mosque is located in the city of Isfahan, which is incredibly beautiful in itself. Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque was built between 1602 and 1619 and is considered an architectural masterpiece. It is also the home to the royal caravanserai and features baths, a royal mint, and a hospital.
