Stunning Florida Beach Towns

There are so many beautiful beach towns in Florida that it’s hard to choose which one to visit. We’ve taken the guesswork out of choosing with 3 of our favorites.

Key Biscayne

The sophisticated island village of Key Biscayne is home to the famous 19th Century Cape Florida Lighthouse, lying between the Crandon Park and the Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park.

Think mangroves, birdlife, turtles and more. It’s conveniently close to Miami but feels as if you’re miles away from the hustle and bustle of city living.

Captiva Island

This island is situated in Lee County, southwest Florida, just north of Sanibel Island in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s a zany place, with golf carts the main source of transportation and not a traffic light in sight.

During the Captiva Luminary ceremony, locals light candles across the length of the island to mark the start of the holiday season.

Vero Beach

If you love nature or eco-adventures, this east coast destination is the place to be. There are miles of pristine beaches to walk on, and even protected wildlife preserves. The main street is filled with galleries, cafes, and a vintage market.
