Beach days are often the best way to spend a hot day. But there are some ways to make sure they go even better. After all, no one wants to eat sand or end up taking half the beach home with them when they leave, right?
Say No to Sandy Sandwiches
Sandwiches are an easy thing to take to the beach as they don’t require cutlery and are always filling. The ingredients between the bread are the star of the show, but the last thing you want is to have that tomato slide out onto the sand. Instead, chop up all your fillings; this will keep everything where it’s meant to be, and you’ll get all the flavors with each bite.
Keep It Clean
Littering on the beach is a big no-no, but it can also be tricky to find a trash can. Make your own by taking an empty cleaning wipes container and filling it with rolled-up trash bags. Whip one out when you need and throw away your garbage responsibly.
Leave the Beach Where it is
Going to the beach is super fun. Taking sand home with you, less fun. Make a DIY sand remover by filling an old sock with talcum powder and tying a knot. Then, run it along any areas of your body covered with sand and watch it magically come off!
