Delta fliers are in for a treat as the airline is set to revamp its onboard menu.

Airplane food has earned a reputation for not being very good, and it is that stereotype that Delta is trying to dismiss with its new selection. While most of the additions are targeted at passengers flying Delta One, there are some that can be enjoyed across all cabins.

One of them is an espresso martini in a can from Tip Top Proper Cocktails. Made using Counter Culture Coffee, the boozy beverage features rich notes of roasted coffee and vanilla bean. They will be available on select domestic and international flights from March.

There will also be the re-introduction of the much-missed dessert cart. Delta One travelers can expect plated desserts, fruit and cheese plates, and the opportunity to build their own ice cream sundae.

“Your onboard meal or beverage should be no different than your go-to restaurant at home, and that’s why we’re constantly reinventing our onboard service at Delta – we always want to surprise and delight our customers with seasonal and fresh menu options,” said Kristen Manion Taylor who is the SVP of In-Flight Service at Delta. “From delicious Spanish tapas plates to refreshing rosé, there is something new for everyone to enjoy.”

First Class and Delta One passengers can also enjoy regional dishes inspired by the country of arrival, fare from Gramercy Tavern in New York, and Questlove’s signature plant-based cheesesteak.
