One of the best coasts that the European continent can offer is the coast of Greece. Both of them, in fact! The Ionian coast is one of the most popular summer destinations of the world.

The island is located on the west coast of Greece, slightly on the Ionian side. Even though it’s an island, it’s accessible via car because it’s connected to the mainland with a bridge. The island is around 35 kilometers long and 15 kilometers wide making every part of it easily and quickly accessible.
The small island is famous worldwide because of its heavenly beaches, which look pretty much like the ones at the exotic Caribbean islands. The sandy beaches are truly breathtaking, stunning the visitor with the turquoise waters that surround the island.
