How India Celebrates Holi, The Festival Of Color

Holi is a Hindu festival that marks the start of Spring. It’s celebrated all across India since at least the 4th century. During Holi, the rules of caste and creed are forgotten by the face that everyone is a part of the celebrations. During this holiday, the tradition it to throw colored powder all around originated in a mythological love story.

This year the holiday will be celebrated on March 1st.
