Destination weddings are exciting and exotic, but definitely not for everyone. Before you decide you want to have one, consider these things.
A Few Days With Your Guests
How does the idea of spending a few days with your wedding guests sound? If it’s a nightmare come true, perhaps a destination wedding isn’t for you. Unlike a traditional party, where you get to be with your guests for several hours before they go home, you get to spend days with them at a destination wedding, so think about your relationships beforehand!
Guest List
A typical destination wedding has a shorter guest list than a regular wedding, so if that works for you, we say go for it! However, if you want to invite a hundred people, it may be easier to organize everything locally.
Holiday For You And Everyone
The great thing about destination weddings is that you get a holiday, too, but so do your guests. Make sure to notify them about the trip at least a year in advance, so they could adjust their other plans and enjoy your celebration stress-free.
