There’s so much to love about traveling, and for the most part, we never really get tired of it. In fact, if we had to choose our least favorite thing about travel, it would be having to come home and return to “normal life” after a big trip. While for most of us, being on the road all of the time is unrealistic, if you are someone who loves to explore new places, it may be worth making a career shift to a field where travel is part of the job. If the idea of getting to travel for work appeals to you, here are some paths you may want to consider.

Flight Attendant

Working as a flight attendant isn’t without its challenges, but if you’re someone who looks for excitement in a job and enjoys working with other people, it may be the perfect fit for you. Each airline has different requirements for where and at and what frequency their flight attendants work, so be sure to do some research before applying for a particular position.

Cruise Ship Staff

You’d be surprised at the number of people it takes to run a cruise ship smoothly, and most of them have nothing to do with operating the ship itself. Larger cruises often have over 1,000 staff members who work jobs in hospitality, fitness, and entertainment, and most employees are given the opportunity to disembark at ports alongside guests.

English Teacher

It’s becoming increasingly necessary to speak English in order to succeed in many fields, and as a result, schools in some countries have implemented English programs to help students get a head start. Usually, these programs will provide room and board and pay a small stipend, though specific benefits will vary depending on the location and the program.
