In many ways, this resort is like the skiing center of Europe. Perfect for beginners as well as seasoned experts, this ski resort has around 150 km of alpine ski runs as well as 600 km of other runs linked to the site. The area extends across 10 summits with altitudes of over 2,500 meters.
This epic resort has 300 km for skiing with 150 ski lifts. The mountainous terrain is like being in another world as you glide down 3000-meter tall peaks most of the year-round. It also is good for all skill levels, with many activities designed for children.
Known for its long runs and high altitude 3,900-meter slopes, Zermatt is a classic on the alpine skiing scene. What makes Zermatt truly famous though is the iconic Matterhorn mountain adorning the sky and serving as a consistent backdrop to the resort.

]]>Yes, the capital of Liechtenstein is Vaduz, a city that is so old it was subject to the Holy Roman Empire once! So, what else can you see in Liechtenstein?
This castle is one of the few in the world that still houses a royal family, and as such it’s not open to the public. Once a year though, the royals invite the population for a drink on the castle’s lawn, making it a very unique opportunity to see what an actual royal stronghold looks like up-close!
Liechtenstein is bordered by Switzerland and Austria, two other landlocked countries, which means it’s mountains all year round! Its highest peak is just under 2,600 meters tall, but as half the country is in the Alps, there’s plenty of fun to be had!
The Rhine marks the western border of Liechtenstein, and while it can be unruly in some places, in this part of its flow the Rhine can make for some of the most beautiful pictures in your collection!

]]>The Swiss Alps are a majestic place with picturesque trails and ice crested mountain peaks. For people who love the thrill of hiking – then this heaven is for you.
The travel to Jungfraujoch will make you feel like you’re on the set of a Christopher Nolan movie. The railway was built in 1912, and it still functions at its prime today. To witness an amazing view of “The Top of Europe,” make sure to book a train ride in this region.
This mountain is about 2,265 meters tall and gives you clear views of crystal clear blue waters of an Alpine lake. It’s home to grassy mountain sides and makes for the perfect picture to take back home to your family. You’ll feel like you’ve gone back in time to when cows grazed the pastures and life was simple and untouched.

]]>The Lago di Como is a glacial lake with a distinctive y-shape. Located on all three arms of this idyllic lake are small towns and villages that give visitors a look at a slowed-down, relaxed version of Italian life.
It’s no wonder that celebrities such as George Clooney and Madonna own homes on the shore of Lago di Como.
Even if you aren’t one of the rich and famous, it’s still possible to enjoy Lago di Como. A short train ride away from Milan, ordinary visitors to Lago di Como can travel by boat on the serene and crystal-clear waters of the lake, visiting towns and villages and marveling at the beauty of the lake and the surrounding Alps.
One of my favorite towns on the shore of Lago di Como is definitely Bellagio. The town that lends its name to one of Las Vegas’s most famous casinos is pristine, clean, and has old cobbled streets with small shops and beautiful villas that you’ll never get tired of exploring.
Lago di Como must be on the top of your list on the next trip you take to Italy. It’s the closest thing to paradise on Earth.
