The island is only six-by-six miles and 1,500 miles away from any other land. The only way to reach Tristan is by ship, and that journey alone will take you almost a week long! To get there, you must take a ship from South Africa and get special permission to visit.
In terms of what you can do there, options are pretty limited to getting to know the inhabitants of the islands, working on the farms, and exploring the natural wonders of the island. The landscapes are so beautiful and untouched, you really will feel like you’re in the most remote place on Earth!
