]]>Single-day tickets for Tier 1 through Tier 6 days will see their price increase between $5 and $15. For example, a Tier 1 ticket will now cost $119 compared to the previous price of $114. Tier 0 days, which are the days with the lowest average attendance, will remain priced at $104.
Multi-day passes will also become pricier. The two-day pass has gone up from $285 to $310, while a five-day ticket now costs $65 more and comes at $480. Annual passes, known as Magic Key Passes, saw a price hike ranging from $50 to $150.
Some other Disneyland offerings will also get more expensive. This includes Disney Genie+ skip-the-line perk and parking, which will cost $5 more than their previous price.
Disney will also introduce some price hikes to Orlando’s Walt Disney World, but they will mostly focus on annual passes.
“We are constantly adding new, innovative attractions and entertainment to our parks, and, with our broad array of pricing options, the value of a theme park visit is reflected in the unique experiences that only Disney can offer,” said Disney spokesperson Jessica Good about the price hikes.

]]>Indeed, the very first Disney park was in bright and sunny Southern California, thousands of miles away from the muggy swamps of Florida. Everything you know about Disney parks today stemmed from the inspiration of the very first park in Anaheim, from the costume-clad actors to the musical rides.
Speaking of rides, while it may not boast the same quantity of attractions you may see in Orlando’s Disney World, Anaheim’s Disneyland has Space Mountain, the Matterhorn, It’s a Small World, and of course Splash Mountain. ]]>We have to mention that the park will only be open to California residents and at a limited capacity. In addition, guests will have to make reservations and purchase an admission ticket.
Starting April 12th, the theme park system will go live on the Disneyland website and guests with existing theme park tickets can make reservations for the days their tickets are valid. Beginning April 15th, tickets and reservations will be open to everyone else.
Upon reopening, Disneyland will have strict safety measures in place including required face coverings, strict cleanings, temperature screenings, barriers and signage for social distancing, contactless payment options, and mobile ordering of food and drinks. Parades and nighttime specials won’t be returning on April 30th and character encounters will remain socially distant.
While there are changes, there are still some things to get excited about including Disneyland’s Show White-themed ride which got a makeover, and the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance ride, which was only open for a few months before the park closed due to the pandemic.
