Beautiful national parks can be found in pretty much every African country, and Tanzania is no different. Tarangire National Park is one of Africa’s best attractions of this kind, and here are three reasons why you should pay it a visit.

Rich Flora

One of the things that the Tarangire National Park is best known for is the large number of baobab trees on its grounds. Its river valley and marshy areas make it a perfect backdrop for acacia woods and combretum woods, making its landscape even more stunning.

Beautiful Landscapes

There’s more to Tarangire’s landscape than swamps and river valleys. Its granitic ridges with the breathtaking views of the African savannah and the surrounding mountains make it worth the visit, but the real magic starts when you join a safari taking you to its heart.

Diverse Wildlife

The main reason to visit Tarangire National Park while in Tanzania is its diverse wildlife. It’s well-known for being home to large herds of elephants, but lions, leopards, zebras, and wildebeest can also be found on its grounds. Tarangire is heaven on Earth for birdwatchers, with 550 species scattered around it, but it’s also famous for its termite mounds.
