These are Liquids That You Can Actually Take Through TSA

When it comes to airport security, it’s all about rules, rules, rules. Most people will say that TSA is the worst part of traveling, but if you know the rules, it’s pretty easy to get by. The biggest thing when it comes to passing security is to not have any prohibited liquids on your person or in your hand luggage. These, however, are perfectly fine.

Baby Formula and Breast Milk

If you’re traveling with a toddler, don’t stress about your baby going hungry. Formula and breast milk may technically be liquids, but according to TSA regulations, they fall into the category of “medically necessary liquids”. To make the screening process simpler, package the fluids in transparent containers.

Hand Sanitizer

Having lived through a pandemic, we all understand the importance of keeping our hands and surfaces clean. Hand sanitizer is permitted aboard a flight, even in liquid form, as long as it is less than 12 ounces.

Live Fish

This isn’t exactly a liquid, and we can’t exactly think of a situation where this would be necessary, but it’s still good to know. On the off chance that you decide to transport live fish, it can be done so as long as they are in clear containers with less than 3.4 ounces of water.
