Banksy is one of the most famous artists in the world, even though people still don’t know who he actually is. The anonymous graffitiest has just created a new artwork in the English town of Margate, but here are where some of his most famous pieces were first displayed.

London, England

Even if you’ve never heard of Banksy, you’ll likely recognize his most famous artwork, Girl with Balloon. The 2002 piece was originally spotted on Waterloo Bridge and depicts a young girl reaching out for a heart-shaped red balloon that is being carried away by the wind.

Calais, France

Thousands of Syrians trying to flee the war-torn country have made their way to Europe in hope of a better life. Many have wound up at a refugee camp near Calais that has been dubbed the Calais Jungle. It is here where Banksy created what is known as The Son of a Migrant from Syria. The mural features the founder of Apple, Steve Jobs—whose parents were Syrian—as a migrant carrying his belongings.

Bethlehem, Palestine

The most well-known version of this Rage, Flower Thrower was located in Bethlehem and created shortly after the construction of the West Bank Wall in 2003. The artwork shows a man with a bandana covering the lower part of his face, positioned as though he is throwing a grenade. Instead, he is holding a bouquet of flowers that symbolize love and peace.
