When visiting new places, we always like to check out the quirky ones. And although London has its fair share of posh cafes, there are some real gems that are one-of-a-kind experiences, perfect for capturing on Instagram. These are the unique cafes you have to check out while visiting London.

Sew Over It

This cafe has two locations, one in Clapman and one in Islington. While at this cafe, for £6 an hour you can rent a sewing machine and enjoy a pot of tea. There are also 35 classes available for sewers at all levels and the food is served on sewing-related memorabilia.

Attendant

Upon first look, you won’t believe this café was once a Victorian-era gents’ toilet, but with closer inspection you’ll recognize that the tables are made from porcelain urinals and the bathroom attendant’s office has been turned into a seating area.

Biscuiteers

Have fun decorating your own biscuits—or cookies as we know them—at this boutique and icing café. If you want to learn more than just how to ice a biscuit, you can take classes.

Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium

On a cold, rainy day, what’s better than snuggling up with some cats? All the cats at the café are rescued, and if you want a bite to eat, they have tea, cakes, and light snacks.

Cereal Killer Café

Perhaps one of the best-known cafés in London, Cereal Killer Café has 120 international cereals, 20 toppings, and 30 kinds of milks. Plus, the café plays classic morning shows from the ’80s and ’90s, and they have a ton of cereal memorabilia.
