One of the simplest ways to save money while traveling is to find cheaper flights to your destination. Considering that this is often easier said than done, we definitely appreciate an easy Google Flight hack shared by TikTok user Sam Jarman.

In a video posted on social media earlier this year, which already has 14.6 million views, Jarman demonstrated how you can find the cheapest flights by being savvy with the way you use Google Flights.

According to Jarman, what you want to do is visit Google Flights, select a round trip, enter the dates, and then choose only the city you are flying from but skip the destination. From there, click on the interactive map that displays the costs of all flights from the selected departure airport, and the prices will be a lot cheaper compared to the airline’s official website.

You can also get even better deals if you are willing to be flexible with your dates. Simply use the option to select “one week” as your trip date while including all months in the year. Thanks to this, Jarman turned an already cheap $217 round trip to New York City from Los Angeles into a $177 round trip. And best of all, it was a direct flight.

Check out his video in full below to learn how you can score cheap flights that will leave more money in your travel budget for other things.
