Niagara Falls is located approximately 66km from Toronto. Of course, getting there by public transport can take long. If you want to check out the falls, here are your best options for doing so via the city.

Rent A Car

By car, the entire journey is approximately 155 km. The route will take just over an hour and a half and you will have the freedom to arrive and leave when you please. Parking close to the falls may be expensive, but if you are willing to walk, you can park the car in the nearby town for affordable prices. This is probably your cheapest option.

Take A Megabus

Alternatively, you can take a Megabus in the morning and either come back on the same day or get a return ticket for the day after. The journey takes just under two hours and a return ticket will be around $40CAD. There’s also WiFi on the buses and you won’t have any changeovers.

GO Train

A third option is to get the GO Train. For $35, you can get a ticket that will take you all the way up to the falls. The ticket also includes unlimited bus rides once you are in Niagara, so you can easily hop from stop to stop. The entire journey takes around two hours from Union Station and the last bus is at 10pm on weekdays.
