Sao Paulo is the largest city in Brazil. For many travelers, the city is just a stop on the way to the beautiful beaches and islands of this country but in fact, it has a lot to offer its visitors. Although at first glance the city may look gray and unattractive, it combines a diverse and vibrant nightlife and culture.

The city offers a wide selection of good nightclubs, discos, samba clubs, restaurants, venues for live music performances, and of course lively bars that stay open all night.

If you fancy a more authentic getaway with local Brazilians, you may want to head to the Bay Area, which offers plenty of clubs, located in old estates, and the Botafogo area, which offer relaxed entertainment, with lots of soul music.

Nightlife in Brazil is light, colorful and happy. Many clubs offer food, and you can enjoy crepes, pizzas and of course the national candy, a very sweet chocolate ball with milk.

As a precaution, it is advisable to avoid walking on the street during the hours of darkness and it is advisable to get to the place of entertainment by taxi. Stay safe, stay happy, have fun!
