If we allow it, nature can amaze us every single second of every single day. Landscapes, mountains, forests, wild rivers… you name it, she has it. Today, we give you the three most beautiful natural lakes that will stun you with their unspoiled splendor!

Melissani Lake, Greece

This lake is located in the cave Melissani on the island of Kefalonia. It is surrounded by forests, mountains and the sea. The color of the lake is crystal blue, which makes it immensely popular among nature lovers. Discovered in 1951, it is one of the island’s most famous landmarks.

Peyto Lake, Canada

During the summer, this unusual lake turns green and becomes a major attraction for tourists, as well as a great location for photography. The lake is named after Bill Peyto, who was a tourist guide at Banff National Park, where this glacial lake is located.

Reed Flute Lake, China

This is one of the oldest lakes in the world, dating back as early as the 7th century BC. Located in Guilin, China, it is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. With the help of a splash of colorful artificial light, the cave creates a fascinating light show at night.
