Bonjour mes amis! If you find yourself with only 24 hours to spend in the City of Lights, you can still experience a lot. With careful planning and a bit of hustle, you can experience some of the most iconic sights and sounds of Paris in just one day.

First things first, start your day early by grabbing a croissant and café au lait from a local boulangerie. You can’t come to Paris without indulging in some of the world’s best pastries! Next, hop on the metro and head to the Eiffel Tower. Yes, it’s touristy, but it’s a must-see for any first-timer in Paris. Take the elevator to the top for stunning panoramic views of the city.

From there, stroll along the Seine River and take in the beautiful architecture and bridges that make Paris so charming. Stop by the Notre Dame Cathedral, the iconic church that has stood the test of time for over 850 years. Although it has suffered damage from a recent fire, it’s still a breathtaking sight to see.

Next up, head to the Louvre Museum to marvel at some of the world’s most famous art pieces, including the Mona Lisa. Pro tip: purchase your tickets in advance to avoid long lines. After the Louvre, stop for a quick lunch break at a local brasserie and indulge in some French onion soup and a glass of wine.

After lunch, head to Montmartre, a bohemian neighborhood known for its artistic flair and stunning views of Paris. Climb the steps to the top of the hill and visit the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, a beautiful white church that sits atop the hill. From there, wander through the narrow streets and soak up the artistic ambiance.

As the sun starts to set, head to the Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe. Take a stroll down the iconic avenue, lined with high-end shops and restaurants, before ending at the Arc de Triomphe for sunset. From there, head to a nearby bistro for some traditional French cuisine, such as escargot or coq au vin.

Finish your night by experiencing the nightlife of Paris. Head to the trendy neighborhood of Le Marais for some cocktails and live music, or go to the famous Moulin Rouge cabaret for a truly unforgettable experience.

Voilà! Although there’s so much more to see and do in Paris, this itinerary will give you a taste of the city’s most iconic sights and sounds in just 24 hours. So grab your beret and get ready for a whirlwind adventure in the City of Lights!

With almost 80k followers on Instagram, San Francisco based travel writer Kelly Lack is a sort of guru when it comes to vacationing with style. “I love an adventure,” she stated in an interview with Lonny, “I get bored when standing still.”

And though it seems like the whole world came this past months to a complete standstill, it’s nice to be reminded of the joys of traveling. “I love how [traveling] smashes the pre-conceived notions you have about the world,” reminded Lack, “even when you don’t realize you have them! We’re all human, trying to get by and struggling with and finding joy in the same things—only in different settings.”

Aside from a buzzing Instagram page, Lack consults on marketing, content strategy, and social media, with her clients as big as Zappos and Conde Nast Traveler. She’s also worked with and written for lifestyle brands like Cosmopolitan, Harper’s BAZAAR, and Martha Stewart.

Traveling with a toddler can be a nightmare without sufficient preparation. With the correct things packed and ready to use you can make the experience a whole lot less stressful.

Stock your diaper bag with these:

24 hours’ supply of diapers.

Wipes for ‘accidents’ and sticky hands.

A couple of spare outfits (bearing pending weather conditions along your route and at your destination). Toddlers tend to require a change of clothes at least once daily.

Bottles or sippy cups and snacks to keep your toddler’s appetite satisfied.

Movies, books, or toys for entertainment. It may be wise to select a combination of the three. Make sure the batteries are working.

Medicine that you may need if your toddler takes ill.

Pack your toddler’s luggage with these:

  1. A fresh change of clothes for each day of the trip and another 2 for in case. Don’t forget shoes!
  2. Toiletries such as shampoo, soap, etc.
  3. Extra diapers, wipes, etc.
  4. Their blankie or other comfort toys that help them to sleep.

Don’t forget a sturdy collapsible stroller or else you’ll be carrying your toddler everywhere.

Each culture vary from each other and so do the different types of coffees in cultures. The way people diffuse or adapt coffee in their cultures varies.

The formation of culture around coffee and coffee houses dates back to the 14th Century in Turkey. Coffee houses in Western Europe were traditionally social places, as well as artistic and intellectual centers. Today it is more like a social activity, a working location or a meeting place for most of the people.

The style of coffee varies by country. Here are three out of the most famous coffee cultures around the globe:

ITALY
Coffee is simply part of the Italian culture but it is not as easy as it seems. The coffee culture in Italy comes with a set of rules. Firstly, it is usually drank while standing, which does not occur in the United States. Then, they also have different rules such as, milky coffee must be consumed in the morning and never following a meal, or other Italians may say they have to drink it before a meal to clean the palate or after a meal to refresh.

VIETNAM

French colonists might have introduced coffee to Vietnam, but the cup of ca phé soon became a local habit. Vietnamese coffee has developed a style of its own with the use of yoghurt, eggs and even fruits. The preparations process and the blending of the beans is different from any other countries as well. The grounded beans go into a French dip filter, which sits on top of the cup. The beans are weighted down with a thin lid, hot water is added to the filter and then the water slowly trickles through into the cup.

BRAZIL

Brazil is the world’s largest producer and is responsible for about a third of all coffee. Brazilians are big coffee drinkers and tend to drink numerous small cups of coffee throughout the day. Because the coffee beans are produced at lower altitudes than the average coffee plantation, they have a more bitter quality. Therefore, Brazilians tend to drink their coffee quite sweet.

With so much going on in the world right now, scrolling through Lack’s past photos might allow some space for serenity and beauty. At least for a moment or two…

Set to open in June 2018, there is a new vacation spot on the island off the coast of Finland that ladies will love to travel to. Yes! this is exclusive to women, so all ladies out there be ready for your all-girls trip to SuperShe Island.

This is like a paradise for any kinds of she to enjoy themselves. The SuperShe Island only centers on female relaxation and uplift oneself including learning how to cook, meditation, yoga exercises, health consciousness and women-only activities where you can loosen and de-stress yourself.

Kristina Roth was the one who founded the networking group SuperShe. She wanted women to consort and socialize with each other and decided to create a place without the existence of men which might bring a low atmosphere for females.

Here’s how you can book if you are up to going on a vacation with your girlfriends: Starting April 1, reservations will be open to the public. If you’re already a member of the SuperShe, your access will be put first.
