Each culture vary from each other and so do the different types of coffees in cultures. The way people diffuse or adapt coffee in their cultures varies.

The formation of culture around coffee and coffee houses dates back to the 14th Century in Turkey. Coffee houses in Western Europe were traditionally social places, as well as artistic and intellectual centers. Today it is more like a social activity, a working location or a meeting place for most of the people.

The style of coffee varies by country. Here are three out of the most famous coffee cultures around the globe:

ITALY
Coffee is simply part of the Italian culture but it is not as easy as it seems. The coffee culture in Italy comes with a set of rules. Firstly, it is usually drank while standing, which does not occur in the United States. Then, they also have different rules such as, milky coffee must be consumed in the morning and never following a meal, or other Italians may say they have to drink it before a meal to clean the palate or after a meal to refresh.

VIETNAM

French colonists might have introduced coffee to Vietnam, but the cup of ca phé soon became a local habit. Vietnamese coffee has developed a style of its own with the use of yoghurt, eggs and even fruits. The preparations process and the blending of the beans is different from any other countries as well. The grounded beans go into a French dip filter, which sits on top of the cup. The beans are weighted down with a thin lid, hot water is added to the filter and then the water slowly trickles through into the cup.

BRAZIL

Brazil is the world’s largest producer and is responsible for about a third of all coffee. Brazilians are big coffee drinkers and tend to drink numerous small cups of coffee throughout the day. Because the coffee beans are produced at lower altitudes than the average coffee plantation, they have a more bitter quality. Therefore, Brazilians tend to drink their coffee quite sweet.

Having a strong desire to travel but don’t have the budget for it?
We have all been through this.

The first and most important factor is saving money before you hit the road. It is important to know how to save and plan your trip accordingly so you know you won’t find yourself running out of money middle of your trip. There are some tips on how to save money for any kind of trip.

Firstly, find a vacation with a budget. Meaning, look for a place where you can stay and enjoy to the fullest, without spending an exaggerating amount of money. Have a look at these are 10 destinations that makes traveling with a budget possible:

1. Fiji
2. Central America
3. China
4. Cambodia
5. South Korea
6. India
7. Vietnam
8. Eastern Europe
9. Portugal
10. Thailand

We are pretty sure that one out of these ten destinations is something for you, if not more than one.

Secondly, after having chosen your destination and booked your flights, from today and till the day you are flying, cut your expenses. In other words, try not to spend as much money on shopping, restaurants or any other evitable activities. Instead, keep that money for your trip. You will have lots of occasions to use it then and you will be more than glad to have saved it back home.

I think after having booked your preferred cheap destination and having saved some money, you are all set to go.

We still believe though that most destinations in the world can be explored on a budget, without having to do too much efforts. But of course, it makes it easier if your destination is already cheaper.

New York, the city of dreams, the city that never sleeps, is known for its fashion, Broadway theaters, shopping and food. Speaking about food, let’s talk about this specific item that makes New York even more popular; the Cronuts. Dominique Ansel has blessed New York, and the world, with the mystical Cronut, a croissant-doughnut hybrid. Simply incredible.

Being invented by the French pastry chef Dominique Ansel, of the Dominique Ansel’s bakery in New York, the Cronut has first been through ten different recipes during two months until getting to the perfect result.

A Cronut comes in a round-shape, fried, and with a creamy interior of a doughnut and the delicate layers of a croissant. They are made with a special Cronut dough, similar to the croissant dough but with a few main differences.

How do we get to the perfect Cronut?
Once they are shaped, they get deep-fried in hot oil, then filled with lots of cream, rolled in sugar and finally glazed.

Cronuts are meant to be eaten immediately and the maximum of cronuts one person can buy in this bakery, is 6. It fits perfectly their golden box. One Cronut will cost you $5 and the flavours may change every month.

Crazier than the Cronut itself, is the line outside of the bakery on a (very) early morning. If you want to have one for breakfast, make sure to put your alarm at 5am.

Zakynthos is simply amazing and different than any other Greek islands for different reasons. It is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea, on which the beaches are only accessible by boat. This place has become a well-known summer resort and a famous destination for young travelers.

Being a beautiful green island, Zakynthos, or also known as Zante in Italian, has been called the ‘Flower of the East’ by the Venetians as there are over 7000 species of flowers on the island. The island is full of lemon, apricot and peach trees.

There are plenty of stuff to visit in the city of Zakynthos as well as a large cultural community. Many cultural events are happening throughout the year. It has interesting museums and a Venetian castle on top of the hill above.

This island is mainly famous for its two beaches; Navagio Beach and Shipwreck Beach, with its white sand and turquoise water. In the summer, due to the clean water and the soft sand, the beaches become breeding places for the sea-turtles. Impressive and beautiful to see.

Apart form swimming and enjoying the beach, do not miss a drive in the city of the island, with the traditional villages and interesting monasteries. Have some local Greek dishes in the restaurants and enjoy your time to the fullest. Holidays in Zakynthos can be combined with other Greek islands. Always worth the check.

Kurtosh is a spit cake specific to Hungary and will make you want to fly there just for having this treat, at least once a day. It used to be a festive treat, today it is part of the everyday consumption.

Having a Kurtosh is on the tourists ‘to-do list in Hungary’ , followed by uploading a picture of them holding it in front of a known monument or building. Kurtosh have become a big trend on the social media, but not only there. In real life, it has become something very popular and today you can find it with different flavors and fillings.

Kurtosh is made from sweet, yeast dough, of which a strip is spun, wrapped around a con-shaped baking spit, and then rolled in granulated sugar. It is brushed with melted butter while still baking. During the baking process as well, the sugar stuck on the Kurtosh turns into caramel and forms a shiny, crispy crust. The cake can then be topped with additional ingredients such as cinnamon or grounded walnuts.

Passing in front of a bakery that makes these delicious Kurtosh, can drive you crazy. These incredible smells are impossible to explain. We’ll guess you will have to fly all the way to Hungary to experience this smell and this delicious taste. But wait, don’t forget to take a picture of it and upload it on your Instagram feed.

The Central Asian Spring Festival, celebrated in March, is a celebration of the coming of spring and is mostly celebrated in various Central Asian countries.

The significance of this holiday dates back form the celebration of the coming of a new year – a time of new beginnings, a period of rebirth and the blossoming and awakening of nature.

In the UK, representatives of different organizations and societies have combined their efforts to carry this tradition onwards. The success of this tradition grew every year, with more than 2000 attendees in 2015. Today, the CASF (Central Asian Spring Festival) is widely regarded in London.

The festival is represented by 9 cultures with representatives participating from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomy.

This year will be the 7th anniversary of the festival and it will be held on Sunday, 25th of March 2018.

On the day of the event, there will be various performances, fun cultural activities and a cultural exhibition. The admission is free of charge and food will be sold on site. A variety of exotic dishes of the Central Asian culture, cooked by an Uzbek cook on the spot, will also be available for the guests.
